Meet J. Steven Tonelli D.M.D. FACD, FICD
Dr. Tonelli is a 1980 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. In 1981, he completed a general practice residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Memorial Hospital in Worcester.
He has served as the past Chairman of the East Middlesex District Dental Society, the General Chairman of the Yankee Dental Congress and the American Dental Association as a member of the Council for Annual Sessions and International Planning. He was proud to serve as the Scientific Chairman for the annual session in Kansas City, MO.
Dr. Tonelli is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists where he serves as the Regent for District 1. He maintains membership in the Academy of Dental Science and the American Equilibration Society. He currently is a teaching associate at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne Florida and is post chairman of the Executive Board of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Alumni Association. He is also a member of the editorial board for the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Tonelli lives in Andover with his wife Peggy, a nurse practitioner at Brigham and Woman’s Hospital and their three sons, Michael, Andrew and Patrick. He enjoys skiing and other outside activities with his family.
